Investor Profiles
Fund Organization → Investor Profiles
Maintain investor relationships, the individuals or legal entities that subscribe, and their displayed portal access.
When to use this app
Establish the investor and subscriber before creating a subscription. Review Portal when checking who can access the investor portal; do not infer access from the existence of an investor profile.
Understand the records
An Investor groups the people and legal entities associated with an investor relationship. In these individual and legal-entity profiles, the subscriber is the party investing, and a subscription connects that party to a receiving fund share class. Subscriptions can also represent feeder participation using another Share Class as subscriber. Contacts supply communication details. A portal assignment connects an authorized user to the investor-facing experience. These records serve different jobs, so the existence of one does not establish the others.
In the fictional example, Cedarbridge Demonstration Investor is the relationship; Cedarbridge Example Holdings Ltd is the legal subscriber; Cedarbridge Core Subscription is its Class A participation. Avery Example's contact details identify a communication contact, without establishing a subscription or login.
Data lets you inspect the relationship and associated records. Portal inspects displayed assignments and eligible shared documents; a profile or contact's existence does not grant access. Read Who’s Who & How They Connect for the participation and contact-subscription relationships.
