Data
Use Fund Operations → Subscriptions → Data to maintain subscription masters, their activity events, transfer records and contact associations. These are editable source tables: a saved change affects the underlying record, not just this page.
Choose the investor, subscriber and class
Use Investor, Subscriber and Share Class to narrow the four tables. An Investor is the profile that can group several investing individuals or legal entities. The Subscriber filter offers individual and legal-entity subscribers. The Share Class is the receiving fund class. These are different relationships.
Clear unused filters when an expected record is missing. This tab does not offer an Entity or As of Date filter; selecting a Share Class gives its fund context. A date or Entity retained in the browser URL does not make these tables historical.
Read the master and activity records
The master is the participation being operated: one subscriber holds an interest in one receiving Share Class under recorded terms. The source record's Subscriber Type can also identify a Share Class for a feeder arrangement, where one class subscribes to another. That broader data-model relationship is distinct from this tab's individual/legal-entity Subscriber filter. Its current commitment and lifecycle fields describe that participation. The activity table supplies the dated history, so a funding request and the contribution responding to it remain distinguishable even when their amounts agree.
Read an activity’s category before interpreting its value. A commitment states participation, a call requests funds, and a contribution records funding. Notice Id connects the contribution to the request it answers; cash-split links connect the funded event to bank evidence. A ledger sign belongs to the activity convention and need not be the bank receipt’s sign.
Native Data tab with fictional Class A selected. Subscriptions and Subscription Activity are expanded; the other sections are below this capture. Scroll each table horizontally for additional columns.
Subscriptions has one row per master record. The example's Cedarbridge Core Subscription #1 links the legal subscriber Cedarbridge Example Holdings Ltd to Cedarbridge Example Fund LP — Class A, with current Commitment Amount USD100,000 and Commitment Currency USD. Its current status is Active and stage is Accepted; these fields are farther right.
Commitment Amount is the current master value, not evidence of cash received. Dates, status, stage, onboarding status and funding status describe different aspects of the subscription. Historical activity-based commitment or unfunded calculations can differ from a current master record; compare them at the intended date and investigate missing or incorrect events.
Subscription Activity has one row per event. The example contains commitment +USD100,000, capital-call notice −USD100,000 and contribution −USD100,000. The contribution's Notice Id refers to the existing call, activity #2. A capital call and its contribution are distinct records, not duplicate payments.
The displayed arithmetic sum −USD100,000 mixes categories; it is not a bank balance or a reliable funded-capital total. Do not total notices and funded events as cash. A subscription contribution's negative source sign can correspond to a positive bank receipt.
Expand Settlement for due and expiration dates. Settlement Method describes how an activity settles; it does not prove settlement occurred. Use Record Explorer to inspect actual cash links and journals.
Read transfers and contact associations
A transfer changes who holds an existing interest and preserves its source and successor relationships. It does not describe a new subscription payment into the fund. Contact associations answer a different question: which existing contact serves a role for this particular subscription. The association supplies operational context without granting access or changing the participation.
Same Class A scope with the first two cards collapsed. No Subscription Transfers or Subscription Contacts exist in this example.
Subscription Transfers records source, target and any residual subscription, parties, terms, dates and capital transferred. Expand Subscriptions & Parties, Transfer Terms and Transferred Capital when investigating a transfer. A transfer can appear when the selected class is involved through its source, target or residual subscription; do not assume every displayed amount belongs exclusively to one side.
A saved transfer row or status alone does not establish that all related activity and accounting consequences are complete. Check the actual linked records and FundOps Recon → Subscription Transfer Integrity. Avoid manually duplicating balances or activities to force agreement.
Subscription Contacts links an existing Investor Contact to a specific subscription and role. It does not create an investor, invite a member or grant portal access. A contact can exist in Investor Profiles without an association in this table, which is why an empty section does not prove there are no contact profiles.
Make a source change carefully
- Identify the existing record, parent subscription, category, currency and date before editing.
- Use the editable cell or its supported editor to correct an evidenced error. Use Insert in the appropriate table only for a genuinely missing source record.
- Select valid reference and Options Library values. For a new activity, choose its real Subscription; do not infer it from matching numeric IDs in another table.
- Wait for the save result, refresh and confirm the same record and value. Respect permissions and row locks; escalate a locked correction through the authorized process.
Wait for data and write settings to finish loading before assuming editing is unavailable. Moving, sorting, hiding or collapsing columns changes presentation; it does not change ownership. Row selection supports the available actions/context, but selecting a row does not execute them.
Continue the investigation
Use Onboarding for subscriptions still in the configured lifecycle queues, Activity for a date-filtered event ledger and Record Explorer for source → activity → cash → accounting. Use FundOps Recon for integrity checks and Cash Recon for settlement discrepancies.
