Data Locks
Fund Organization → Data Locks
Inspect which records are locked and identify unlocked records that need authorized review.
When to use this app
Confirm organization, period and table scope before interpreting a lock count. Inspect the source record and use only the supported lock action available to your role.
Understand the records
Overview summarizes lock counts by table. FundOps and Accounting list individual eligible unlocked records so you can inspect their table and ID. The lists are queues for protection, not inventories of reconciliation errors.
For example, a reviewed journal can be locked while its accounting period remains Open. A Draft journal can also exist in an unlocked list; locking it does not turn it into a Posted journal. Inspect the owning record's content and status before protecting it.
Tabs
Where to continue
If a locked record needs correction, identify its exact table and ID for an admin, retain the reason and repeat the affected review after the authorized change. A record already locked will not appear in the unlocked-only tabs.
Scoped recon and close tabs reuse the lock data. A lock is separate from a reconciliation result, posted journal or period-close outcome.
