Data
Use Fund Organization → Investor Profiles → Data to maintain investor relationship records and their associated individuals, legal entities, settlement accounts and contacts. This is profile data; participation amounts and dated capital events belong in Subscriptions.
Select the relationship
Choose Investor at the top to scope all five sections. With no investor selected, the datasets show their full available populations. A blank result under one investor does not mean the record is absent from the organization: clear the filter and search before inserting another record.
The Investor selection groups related records; it does not turn a person, legal entity or contact into a subscription. Each table keeps its own record identity, and the stored relationship determines membership in the selected investor's population. Legal participation is established separately by the subscription's subscriber and Share Class references.
Actual app with fictional data. Cedarbridge Demonstration Investor #1 is selected. Investors, Individuals and Legal Entities each contain one record.
In the image, Investors shows the top-level relationship, while Individuals and Legal Entities show Avery Example and Cedarbridge Example Holdings Ltd associated with it. The legal entity is the subscriber for the teaching subscription. This demonstrates why grouping both records under an Investor does not make both subscribers to the same class.
IDs are local to each table. Investor #1, individual #1 and legal entity #1 are different records. A matching name or numeric ID is not a substitute for the relationship.
To connect a participation, continue to Fund Operations → Subscriptions → Data and inspect the subscription's subscriber type, subscriber and target Share Class. That is where a legal subscriber becomes linked to a fund participation. Investor Profiles does not establish a commitment, cash receipt or investor NAV.
Inspect accounts and contacts
The same page scrolled down. Accounts and Investor Contacts are separate sections beneath the selected investor. All names, emails and banking descriptions are fictional; payment instructions have been left empty.
Accounts stores investor-side payment or settlement account details. These are distinct from the fund-owned accounts maintained in Organization and used by Cash. Confirm the selected investor, account currency and account identity before using the underlying details in an approved operating process. A row here is neither a cash movement nor evidence that funds settled.
Investor Contacts holds contact information associated with an investor, such as an individual's name or a shared email address. Their roles for a particular subscription are recorded in Subscriptions → Data → Subscription Contacts. A contact email, a profile email and a portal user are different facts. Adding a contact does not invite that person or grant portal access. Use the Portal to inspect displayed access separately.
The displayed account-number, IBAN, routing-number and tax-identifier fields are masked representations in these datasets. Do not type a masked display value back as a replacement for the underlying information. Use the authorized source-record process when those details need correction.
Find and correct a record
Use each section's Search records, Filter and Sort controls for that table. Expand a column-header group to inspect secondary details: for example, Primary Contact in Investors, Tax & Citizenship in Individuals, or Payment Routing in Accounts. A collapsed group keeps its main identification field visible; expansion does not create another record.
These tables are editable where your role and the record's lock state allow it. Confirm the section and ID before editing. For an authorized text correction such as Notes, double-click the cell, change the text and press Enter to save. Refresh and confirm the value on the same record ID. This verifies a saved source edit, not a workflow, communication or access change. Other field types use their own editor controls.
Use Insert only for a genuinely new record and verify its investor association afterward. The page filter scopes the displayed result; do not assume it supplies every required relationship in a new record. For a new contact intended for Cedarbridge Demonstration Investor, check that its saved Investor reference points to that Investor record, not merely that the same filter remains selected. Investor #1 and Contact #1 are different records; the relationship connects them.
If the value is wrong, correct its source record and recheck dependent pages. Avoid creating a replacement person, legal entity or account merely to fix a descriptive mistake. Review source details and existing links before changing who owns a subscription or receives access.
