FundOps
Use Fund Organization → Data Locks → FundOps to find individual unlocked records in the Investments, Investors and Accounts groups. Review the existing records before using an authorized locking action. This is a protection queue; an unlocked row is not automatically a reconciliation exception.
Set the scope first
Choose Year, then Accounting Period. A selected accounting period takes precedence over Year. All periods uses the selected year; All years and All periods gives the broadest date scope.
This tab has no Entity selector and covers the organization's included FundOps tables. A retained Entity value from another tab does not narrow this list. Check each underlying record's entity, class and related parties before selecting it.
Dates depend on the table: investment and subscription activities use their activity dates; cash splits and cash links follow the parent transaction's date; effective ranges overlap the review window. Undated master records, such as investor profiles, remain eligible. Their inclusion does not mean they were created during the selected quarter.
Read the unlocked source records
Each leaf identifies one existing source record. The business groups combine several tables, so an Investors count can include subscriptions, contacts and activities as well as Investor records. Protection follows the individual table and ID, rather than the group's name. A row appears because it is eligible and unlocked; that alone says nothing about whether its cash, evidence or ownership is correct.
The fictional example below demonstrates the population and a single-record selection.
Year 2026 and All periods are selected. The Investors group and Investors table are expanded, with only Investor #2 selected.
The full example contains 47 unlocked records across the included tables: Investments 5, Investors 13 and Accounts 29. Investors 13 includes profiles, an investor account, subscriber entities, an individual, a contact, two subscriptions and their activities; only 2 are rows in the Investors table.
The two leaf rows show Cedarbridge Unassigned Practice Investor #2 and Cedarbridge Demonstration Investor #1. The selection bar says 1 record. The Date cell is blank for investor master records; Last Edited is audit information, not an effective date, review date or approval.
A group count totals its underlying records. Do not add it to the expanded table counts. These are record counts, not money, unique investors across every table or unresolved financial errors.
Review and select records deliberately
- Expand the business group, then the relevant Table.
- Open the Record reference and verify the actual source table and ID. Investor #1, Subscription #1 and Account #1 are different records.
- Check dependencies in the owning operational app or shared explorer. Reconcile the relevant activity, settlement and accounting links where required before protecting the records.
- Select the intended leaf rows and inspect the selection count. Group and header checkboxes can broaden a selection; do not infer its scope from the number of visible rows. Use Clear selection to start again.
Selecting records does not lock them. An admin can use Lock selected rows when the table provides that action for the selected records. Confirm the target tables, IDs and review scope before proceeding. If the action is absent, check your role, whether eligible individual records are selected, and whether their lock states have finished loading. Ask an administrator to check the table’s record and locking configuration if needed.
After an authorized operation, refresh under the same scope, verify the original records' lock state and check Data Locks → Overview. Locked rows stop appearing in this unlocked-only list. Disappearance alone is insufficient: a changed filter or deleted record can also remove a row.
Correct safely
Investigate a break in its owning app: Subscriptions or Investments for activities, Cash → Transaction Explorer for feed/transaction/split/settlement lineage, and the relevant Recon app for checks. Do not create replacement records simply to remove a row from this list.
If a locked record needs correction, follow the authorized unlocking and correction procedure, retain the reason, then rerun the affected checks before protecting it again. Do not assume that locking one record locks its parent, children or linked records.
Locks, reconciliation results and reviewer sign-off remain separate. A full lock-coverage percentage does not prove completeness, correct ownership, correct balances or period close.
