Organization
Fund Organization → Organization
Maintain the fund entity, its share classes and its own accounts. These relationships determine which fund a subscription, cash account or accounting event belongs to.
When to use this app
Start here when establishing or checking the fund's structure. Select the relevant entity before editing an entity, share class or account.
Understand the records
The fund Entity is the administered legal entity. Each Share Class references that entity, and each fund-owned Account identifies the entity's bank or brokerage account. A class says which participation an investor holds; an account says where the fund can hold cash. Creating either record establishes structure, not an amount invested or deposited.
The fictional example demonstrates these roles: Cedarbridge Example Fund LP is Entity #1, Class A is its share class, and Operating USD and Reserve USD are separate accounts referencing that entity. Both accounts can exist while one has no cash.
Use Fund Structure to check those references. Use Share Class Structure to see subscriptions, allocated investments and class-owned cash together; those sections are overlapping perspectives, not amounts to add as NAV.

Where to continue
Use Fund Overview for operational lookthrough and performance. Use Data Locks to inspect lock state. Investor payment accounts belong in Investor Profiles, separately from these fund-owned accounts.
